somebody else and, well,
we fell in love
completely, like the

pinned to her furs,
so you can forget me
if you care to, or smile
& shake your head
at everything i've said, but
sweet b, if we
aren't meant to be
lovers, then, for heaven's sake,
can't we always be friends?
