This was a special show for me because my old friend and colleague Jon Paul, better known as The Doctor on WWOZ Radio in New Orleans, was in Amsterdam on holiday and joined us for the program at the new headquarters off the Rembrandtplein of the art anti-squat called What Is Happening Here. The very fine harp man Harmoniuca George joined us, and we collaborated on the premiere performance of my new poem for our late lamented friend Mr. Lee Bridges. Harmonica George & Denny DeFalva do a number of their own, and there's recorded music by Earl King, Dr. John, Coco Robicheaux, Little Walter, Muddy Waters, and the Blues Scholars.
