Sunday, March 27, 2005 @ 10:00-11:00 pm [20-0518]

While I was in the Bay Area in March I did a performance for the Berkeley Patients Group, a medical marijuana dispensary and clubhouse where my friend Just enuf Joe Bryak also hooked me up with the people who invented pirate radio in the Bay Area and the people who are currently broadcasting without a license as Berkeley Liberation Radio. A very knowledgeable young man who calls himself Emperor Nobody agreed to do a joint production with our show and we cut two one-hour segments starting around 10:00 pm on a Sunday night. The Emperor and I did a lot of cross-talking, he played some cuts of mine with the Blues Scholars, Wayne Kramer, Mark Ritsema, LangeFrans & Baas B, and Ed Moss & the Society Jazz Orchestra, and there were tunes by the MC5 and the Clash to round out the first hour.
