Our second and third American shows were staged at my radio alma mater, WWOZ-FM in New Orleans, live from Louis Armstrong Park. Program #28 was a joint production with Marc Stone on his Tuesday afternoon Soul Serenade Show, and we had a natural ball running our heads and playing great music by John Lennon, Clarence Gatemouth Brown, Johnny Guitar Watson, Magic Sam, The Coasters, Brady Roberts, Howlin Wolf, Mathilda Jones, the Highway QC's with Johnny Taylor (prompting a pair of phone calls from Aaron Neville), The Staple Singers, Sly & the Family Stone, Robert Pete Williams, the Boston Blues Scholars, Ed Moss & Society Jazz Orchestra, Lightning Rod and J.J. Cale.
