Our second show of the New Year was even more exciting than Paradiso had been when we took the train out to Schipol Airport to interview the prominent Dutch artist Aldert Mantje and his painting partner on the site of their new work, a recreation and alteration of the Rembrandt masterpiece called The Nightwatch that's being painted on a wall at the international airport. Anthony Murrell organized this show and conducts the interview in his Dr. Art persona this time as Dr. Jefferson T. Art and there's great music by Charles Mingus, Professor Longhair, the Wild Magnolias, the Blues Scholars, Muddy Waters and Charlie Parker.
