Our first visit to the Cannabis College took place later Wednesday evening and we cut two shows back-to-back with a great live audience. At this point in the project we were still trying to effect a live broadcast of the proceedings in the venue while we were also recording the program for posting on the website.

We had found in the coffeeshops that broadcasting the show in the house could be disruptive to the accustomed atmosphere each shop endeavored to establish for its patrons, and after the first week of programs we gave up on in-house broadcasting in order to concentrate on making the program itself.

But the Cannabis College audience was right on time, and we all enjoyed the Opening Tokes of Apple Jack with Peter, talking with College director Lorna Clay, hearing Mr. Lee Bridges read from his new memoir, listening to music by James Andrews, the Mardi Gras All Stars, June Yamagishi, John Sinclair & His Blues Scholars, the New Orleans Jazz Vipers, and a live performance by Walter Noon.
