Our second day of programming took place at the host's regular hangout, the 420 Cafe (formerly the Cafe deKuil), with the Opening Tokes of 420 Haze offered by William, the house cannabis manager. There's music by the MC-5, John Sinclair with Wayne Kramer, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, the Blues Scholars, and Walter "Wolfman" Washington, and live guests including the creator of the Verdamper vaporizer; Santa Cruz deejay Ice Cube Slim, reporting on the final Blues Estafette in Utrecht; Michael Veling, proprietor of the 420 Cafe and political activist; and Frans the bagpipe man in a live closing duet with John Sinclair improvising the text. Rockin' Jake comes in to put the show to bed.
