Our program launch began at the Coffeeshop Amnesia on November 22, 2004 and celebrated the opening of the annual Cannabis Cup festivities in Amsterdam. The John Sinclair Radio Show was conceived and plotted in a series of informal meetings at Amnesia by Henk Botwinik, Larry Hayden and Anthony Murrell and we wanted to start our programming from our home base.

After our opening theme (used for all 16 Cannabis Cup shows), "It's All Good" by John Sinclair with the Dutch rap duo Langefrans & Baas B, there was the obligatory singing of "Indian Red" by Big Chief Monk Boudreaux & the Golden Eagles and music by James Brown, Little Richard, Andre Williams, John Sinclair & His Blues Scholars, and a live pickup of an impromptu operatic aria being sung in the street outside.

Our official Opening Tokes, the Hog, were furnished by THSeeds, and oour first guests included DJ Eli from WWOZ Radio in New Orleans, Adam from THSeeds and the HempWorks clothing shop, brother Itay from the Amnesia management, Mr. Lee Bridges--The Cannabis Poet reading from his works, and Marcus & Jurgen, developers of the Volcano vaporizer.

The show closes with another Sinclair performance, "Fat Boy," with Wayne Kramer on guitar and a horn section led by Charles Moore, and ending theme "It's All Good" by Rockin' Jake.
