A mad dash from the upper Spuistraat down and across through the Nieuwemarkt to the cozy headquarters of Amsterdam Dreams on the third canal and our krewe was soon setting up for the second live show of the afternoon. Our pal and newest program sponsor, James Millard, was in town from Detroit to help us with the Opening Tokes, and we talked with our friend Dwayne, Amsterdam Dreams proprietor, and with Adam Brook, fellow Detroiter in town to help with the show. Plenty of great music from the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Junior Wells, Wes Mackey, the Blues Scholars, Deacon John, Brother Tyrone & The Mindbenders, Connie Allen, Chuck Berry, the Detroit Cobras and the Flaming Arrows.
